Groups
We have two types of groups which can be tailored to meet the needs of your clients/ organisation.

Support Groups

Support groups provide an opportunity to, share experiences and develop peer support. Talking to others in a confidential, non –judgemental environment about things that matter can be helpful in gaining a different perspective. Seeing how other people handle issues can help you to realise you're not alone. Our support group offers                                                                                                  Call: 0845 071 1369                                                    C
ongoing, long term support; it is provided on a regular weekly “drop in” basis normally lasting for one and a half hours.
Group members decide which topics to discuss, which speakers from (external organisations) to invite along and how they would like to see the group develop.

Group Therapy
Group therapy can be a valuable opportunity to share experiences and explore difficulties with others in the presence of an experienced therapist. Members decide what they want to talk about and have an opportunity to deal with personal issues as well as those that may arise from the group.
Group interaction provides an opportunity for you to learn more about the way you interact with others and provides a safe environment to try out new ways of behaving.
You probably will be most helped and satisfied if you talk about your feelings. It is important to keep in mind that you are the one who determines how much you disclose in a group.
Members make a commitment to attend the group on a regular basis, for a fixed number of sessions and keep the content of the sessions confidential.
